Dr. S. FARRANT, a late Major of Taunton (1888), and brother of the late Dr. Mark FARRANT, of Exeter, who died on the 18th July at Ambeid, Pitminster, left estate which has been valued at £12,276 16s. By his will, dated the 19th January, 1875, the testator left the whole of his estate and effects to his wife, Mrs. Ann FARRANT, who is the sole executrix of the will. The deceased, who was educated at Collumpton, and was a pupil of Dr. G. H. CORNISH, at Taunton, in addition to his professional duties, took a prominent part in Somerset public affairs.
