MR. W. BRAUND.

Tributes of Respect at Topsham Funeral.

The funeral of Mr. W. BRAUND took place on Sunday at the Topsham Cemetery, the Rev. E. J. JAMES officiating. The bearers were Messrs. G. MURPHY, J. MURPHY, T. SHORLAND, F. HOWARD, R. TROUT, and C. OSBORNE, fellow workmates of deceased. The chief mourners were the widow, Mr. W. H. BRAUND (son), Mrs. R. THORN, Miss A. BRAUND, and Mrs. E. WILLS (daughters), Mr. H. BRAUND (brother), Messrs. R. THORN and E. WILLS (sons-in-law), Mrs. PRIUALX and STANLEY (cousins), Messrs. L. and W. TROUT, R. BELL, A. WANNELL, M. HUTCHINS, S. BALL, and G. WILLIAMS. Mrs. W. H. BRAUND (daughter-in-law) and Mr. J. BRAUND (brother) were unable to attend, being indisposed. Among others present at the graveside were Messrs. T. B. PYNE, J. WREFORD, J. FARRENT, W. CROOK, G. HOLMES, F. BRAWN, and A. DENHEM, and Mesdames J. WREFORD, J. FARRENT, CROOK, HOLMES, BRAWN, and B. TAYLOR.

Beautiful floral tributes were as follows:- “To our dearest dad,” from his sorrowing wife and family; “With deepest sympathy,” from his brothers and sisters, Jim, Harry, Alice, Linda, and Lila; “In loving memory of dear dad,” from Doris and Marjorie and grandchildren at Huxham; “To dear grandad,” from little Francis; “In loving sympathy,” from cousins at Denmark-road, Exeter; “With deepest sympathy,” from Mr. and Mrs. L. TROUT; “With deepest sympathy,” from his Canal work-mates; “In affectionate remembrance,” from Mr. and Mrs. J. WREFORD; “With deepest sympathy,” from Mrs. WILLS and family; “Sincere sympathy,” from Nora and Bill; “With sincere sympathy,” from Mr. and Mrs. W. CHAMBERS; “With deepest sympathy,” from Mr and Mrs. W. J. PONSFORD (Exminster); “With deepest sympathy,” from all at 32, Fore-street.
