BUCKS
Stuart BRAUND, of Bucks Cross, who was a Bideford Grammar School pupil, passed an examination for Aircraft Apprentice, held recently at Exeter.
Mrs. Susan BRAUND was buried on Sunday, August 9th, at St. Anne's Cemetery, Rev. Guy WHITAKER officiating. A very large company of relatives and friends attended. Mrs. BRAUND's chosen hymn was sung and a prayer offered by Rev. TYREMAN at the house.
Chief mourners were Messrs. John BRAUND (husband); Oliver, John, and Walter (sons); Mrs. MOSS (daughter); Olive and Connie (grand-daughters); Mrs. John BRAUND (daughter-in-law); Messrs. W. HOCKIN and S. BRAUND (sons-in-law); Mesdames S. BRAUND, G. BRAGG, W. H. WALTER (nieces); Messrs. W. H. and S. WALTER (nephews).
Floral tributes, which were very beautiful, were from: Her loving husband and Olive; Oliver, Clara, and family (Devonport); Jack, Bertha, and family (Bideford); Sarah, Tom, and family (Ilfracombe); Walter, Rose, and family (Bucks); Will, Maude, and family (Northam); Sid, Mabel, and family (Bideford); Miss C. GORDON (Weston-Super-Mare); Mrs. G. BRAGG (Wargery, Hartland); Mr. and Mrs. W. H. WALTER (Tosbury, Hartland); Mr. and Mrs. Fred BRAUND and family (Bucks); Mr. and Mrs. Richard BRAUND (Bucks); Mr. and Mrs. Chris. BRAUND (Bideford); and Mr. and Mrs. SUTLEY (Dulverton).
Bearers were Messrs. George, Charles, Henry, Reuben, Ernest, and Joe BRAUND.
