FREMINGTON.

SUDDEN DEATH. - Mrs Elizabeth BRAUND, wife of Mr. John BRAUND, carpenter, of Fremington, was discovered on Saturday lying insensible under an apple tree in her garden. She was at once conveyed to her bed, and Mr. HARPER was sent for. He found her suffering from an apoplectic fit, and she died early on the following morning. Deceased was 69 years of age.

HARVEST HOME was celebrated in this place on Tuesday, by services in the parish church, which commenced by morning prayer at eleven o'clock, and a sermon by the Vicar (Rev. J. T. PIGOT). There was a public tea on the Vicarage Lawn in the afternoon, which was largely attended by the villagers; and in the evening the Rev. T. RUSSELL, M.A., preached an eloquent sermon. The church was very prettily decorated for the occasion.
