The bridegroom's gift to the bridesmaids was a gold chain and pendant. Mr. George BRAUND (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man. The service was fully choral, the choir rendering the hymn “How welcome was the call.” The Pastor (Rev. W. BURTON) officiated, Mrs. J. T. BATLEY presided at the organ and played Mendelssohn's Wedding March. During the afternoon a reception was held at the bride's house. The presents were costly and numerous.
