NORTHAM.
THE death occurred on Thursday, December 19th, at 12, Kimberley-terrace, Northam, of George Henry STEER, second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. STEER, at the early age of 18 years. Deceased, who was of a bright disposition, will be much missed by a large circle of friends. The interment took place at the Northam Churchyard, the Revs G G PAYNE COOKE and C GRANT officiating. The immediate mourners were Mr and Mrs F J STEER (father and mother), Masters Harold, William, and Jack STEER (brothers), Miss J STEER (sister), Pte H E MAY (uncle, Barnstaple), Miss E MAY (cousin, Barnstaple), Mr and Mrs Frank BRAUND (cousins), Misses H and H STEER (cousins, Bideford), Mr H STEER (uncle), Mr and Mrs J STEER (uncle and aunt), Mrs BRAUND (aunt, Bucks Mills), Miss H BRAUND (cousin), Mrs JAMES (aunt, Horns Cross), Mr and Mrs R A BRAUND, Mr J MOULTON, Mr RICHARDS(?), Mr A PENNINGTON, Mr R BRAUNTON, A B Mark FINN, Mr W RENDLE, Master V SYMES, Pte J PROUSE. The eldest brother of deceased (Bdr T STEER) was unable to be present owing to being on active service in Italy. The bearers were W and F STEER and Frank BRAUND (cousins), William GRIFFEY, James PROUSE, and William PENHORWOOD (friends).
