HOLSWORTHY.
On Sunday, last week, Mr. Christopher BRAUND, widower, was married to Mrs. LOCK, widow of the late Wm. LOCK, of Hill Head Cottage, Newton, being the fourth wife the respected bridegroom has led to the altar. This place is swarming with old maids and bachelors, the former more particularly. Four dozen is a large quantity for a place like Holsworthy, and the worst of it is that they are on the increase. (Would'nt advertising be a fine medium for effecting a clearance?).
