SHIRWELL.
The death took place on Saturday last of Miss Gladys PARKHOUSE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel PARKHOUSE, Cwmphil-terrace, near Cwmtreich, Swansea, and formerly of Shirwell, at the age of 21 years. The deceased young lady was of a lovable and genial disposition. The funeral which took place at the New Cemetery, Ystradgynlais, was attended by a very large number of friends. The Rev. Price WATTS officiated at the house and graveside. The mourners were Mr. Samuel PARKHOUSE (father), Mr. and Mrs. Stanley PARKHOUSE (brother and sister-in-law), the Misses Annie, Gertie, and Florence PARKHOUSE (sisters), Mr. Alfred PARKHOUSE (brother), Mr. Frank LUSCOMBE (uncle). Mrs. PARKHOUSE (the mother), was not able to attend through illness. Floral tributes were from father, mother, sisters and brother; Stanley, Alice and family.
