FORMER CHORISTER AT BRATTON FLEMING

Funeral of Miss Brenda PARKHOUSE

The funeral of Miss Brenda PARKHOUSE, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. PARKHOUSE, of 2, Prospect Place, Bratton Fleming, a chorister and a member of the Women's Institute, took place at the Parish Church on Saturday, the Rev. C. E. J. GOVER officiating. Mrs. L. BALE was the organist and the hymns were “How sweet the name of Jesus sounds” and “Hark, hark, my soul.”

The principal mourners were the parents; Mr. Ivor PARKHOUSE and Miss DORKING, brother and friend; Mr. Pat PARKHOUSE, brother; Mr. and Mrs. C. BEARD (Taunton), brother-in-law and sister; Mrs. DAVEY, aunt; Mrs. HARRIS, Mr. and Mrs. MAYNE (Chittlehampton), and Mr. H. HANFORD, cousins; Mr. and Mrs. MATTHEWS (Burrington), Mr. and Mrs. PARKER, and Mrs. BARROW.

The bearers were Messrs. F. BALE, P. SAGE, A. CLARK, and C. LEY.
