CULLOMPTON PETTY SESSIONS – Monday.
John ROOKLEY, an old man, living at Kentisbeare, was charged with being drunk at Cullompton, late on Thursday last. The offence was proved by p.c. HOLLAND, and two recent convictions having been proved, defendant was bound over to keep the peace for twelve months, himself in £10 and a surety (named Elias WHITE) in £20.
