Mr. J. B. MALE, Taunton.
The funeral took place on Saturday at St Mary's Church and Cemetery, Taunton, of Mr. Joseph Bond MALE, who had been for 40 years head master of Holy Trinity Church School's, Taunton.
When Mr. MALE retired in 1919 he resigned his membership of Taunton Education Committee, on which he had served for 16 years as teachers' representative. Before coming to Taunton he was head master of Long Sutton School, near Langport.
Mr. MALE was 78, and leaves a widow, one daughter, and four sons.
At the funeral those present included representatives of the Education Committee, Taunton and West Somerset Teachers' Associaton, Taunton Bowling Club, Taunton Rugby Football Club, and the Conservative Club.
