OBITUARY
Mr. F. W. GILL, Plymouth.
Members of the staff of Messrs. J. Lyons and Co. acted as bearers at the funeral of Mr. Frederick Walter GILL, of 12, Kinross-avenue, Lipson, Plymouth, yesterday. Mr. GILL, who was aged 62, died suddenly on Monday. He was a native of Quethiock, and became a master baker at 32, Cecil-street, Plymouth. For the past 20 years he had been with Messrs. Lyons and Co. as a tea salesman.
Following a service at St. Augustine's Church, conducted by Rev. J. ROBERTS, vicar, the interment took place at Plymouth Old Cemetery.
Chief mourners were the widow; Mr. and Mrs. F. C. GILL and Mr. and Mrs. R. W. GILL, sons and daughters-in-law; Miss J. GILL and Mrs. P. WARREN, sisters; Messrs. G., L., and E. BRAUND, step-brothers; Mr. H. CLOAKE, nephew; Mesdames M. VAUGHAN, H. PADDLE, L. PARKIN, and Miss D. GILL, nieces; Mesdames A. GILL and F. MOGRIDGE, sisters-in-law.
Messrs. Lyons were represented by Messrs H. A. MARTIN (superintendent), A. E. CLARKSON (chief salesman), G. A. ANDREWS (depot keeper), H. C. AUSTIN (clerk), W. WILTON (salesman), and E. R. TAYLOR.
Also present were Mr. and Mrs. P. SIMS, Mr. T. BIRMINGHAM (late of Lyons), and Messrs. HILL and WOOLEY (Messrs Brooke Bonds).
Messrs. S. GILL, brother; C. MOGRIDGE, brother-in-law; and Mr. and Mrs. . VICKERY were unable to be present.
Bearers were Messrs. R. J. BACKHOUSE, P. LAWRENCE, E. R. NORTHCOTT, E. J. SOWDEN, H. LITTLE, and A. BERKELEY.
