MR. J. P. BRAUND
Death Of Former Tiverton Postmaster
Mr. John P. BRAUND, who has died at Grays, Essex, was elder son of Mr. Marwood BRAUND, former Liberal councillor for Laira Ward and one-time chairman of Plymouth Board of Guardians.
Mr. J. P. BRAUND was promoted from Plymouth postal service to be postmaster of Tiverton, and then to Grays, where he served during the whole of the war, retiring last May.
He leaves a widow, a sister of Mr. V. T. PEDLAR, and one daughter.
After the funeral service tomorrow at Grays Methodist Church the ashes will be buried in Week St. Mary Churchyard.
