A BOX WEDDING.

Mr. Edwin PEARCE and Miss A. M. BOLWELL.

The marriage was solemnised at the Parish Church, Box, on Monday, of Miss Ada Marion BOLWELL, A.T.C.L., daughter of Mr. A. S. BOLWELL, of the Lamb Inn, Box, and Mr. Edwin PEARCE, son of the late Mr. Isaac PEARCE, of “Field Dew,” Bagborough, Taunton. The Rev. V. AWDRY, M.A., officiated. Mr. BRADFIELD was at the organ, and played the “Wedding March” at the conclusion of the ceremony.



THE BRIDE.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a wedding gown of ivory English crepe de chine, with old English lace veil, and orange blossom wreath, and white shoes and stockings, and carried a shower bouquet of pink carnations. She was attended by four bridesmaids – Miss Marjorie CREW and Miss Dorothy BOLWELL (nieces of the bride), and Miss Mary CRIPPS and Miss Audrey PEARCE (nieces of the bridegroom).

Miss CREW and Miss PEARCE wore dresses of pale pink georgette and lace Dutch caps, with white shoes and socks, and carried bouquets of pink carnations and white rosebuds, and Miss CREW and Miss BOLWELL, wore dresses of pale mauve georgette and lace Dutch caps, white shoes and socks, and carried baskets of pink carnations and white rose buds. The ivory Prayer Books carried by the bridesmaids were the gifts of the bridegroom.



THE BRIDEGROOM.

Mr. F. SIMONS was the best man, and the groomsmen were Mr. E. CREW and Mr. F. BOARD.

A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride.

The honeymoon will be spent in the Channel Islands. The bride's travelling dress was a beaver cloth costume, with putty-coloured georgette hat, and shoes and stockings to match. Mr. and Mrs. PEARCE were the recipients of numerous presents.

The bridal bouquets were supplied by Mr. T. J. WOODMAN, of the Conservatory, Alfred Street.
