BATH CHURCH'S LOSS

Death of a St. Stephen's Sidesman

The parish of St. Stephen's has lost a highly esteemed sidesman by the death, which occurred at his home, 3, Richmond Place, Bath, on Monday, of Mr. James Anthony PERRAM.

Mr. PERRAM, who was 78, had been ill for six weeks. He was a sidesman in the time of Archdeacon FISH at St. Stephen's.

A widower, Mr. PERRAM leaves three daughters – Miss PERRAM and Miss Eva PERRAM, with whom he lived, and Mrs. READE.

Mr. PERRAM served for 46 years on the staff at the Manor House, Cossington, near Bridgwater, and with a branch of the same family in Pulteney Street, Bath.

When at Cosshington <sic> he was a keen bellringer and sang in the church choir.
