BIG SOMERSET FIRE.

Ashfield House, near North Petherton, Somerset, owned by Lord PORTMAN, and rented by Mrs. CARRINGTON, has been completely destroyed by fire. The outbreak originated in the roof, near the kitchen chimney, and rapidly spread, the flames being fanned by a westerly gale. Valuable furniture was destroyed, and the damage is estimated at several thousand pounds.
The fire(?) burnt furiously throughout Friday afternoon.
