MARRIAGE OF MISS JACOBS. - Interest was occasioned in this village on Tuesday by the marriage of Miss Clara Mary JACOB, daughter of Mr William JACOBS, of Barrington Court, with Mr William HORSEY, son of Mr William HORSEY, of Low Ham, Langport. The ceremony took place in the prettily(?) decorated Parish Church, the bride, who was escorted by her father, carrying a magnificent bouquet. Her two sisters, Misses Annie and Susie JACOBS, acted as bridesmaids. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr John HORSEY, as best man, and by Mr F JACOBS, brother of the bride. The Rev J HAMLET, vicar, assisted by the Rev. A LETHBRIDGE, rector of Shepton Beauchamp, and formerly vicar of Barrington, officiated. The ceremony over, a large party assembled at the wedding breakfast, after which the happy couple left for South Devon for their honeymoon. Many valuable and artistic presents received by both bride and bridegroom betoken the goodwill of numerous friends. In the evening Mr and Mrs JACOBS entertained a numerous company at a dance thus(?) bringing a happy day to a pleasant termination.
