BURGLARY BY A YOUNG GIRL AT SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP.

The police are searching for a young woman named Elizabeth CLARKE, who is charged with breaking into a room at a benevolent home for girls at Shepton Beauchamp, and stealing two cash boxes containing money and cheques. CLARKE was received into the home by Miss COLES, the benefactress, from Bristol, where, we understand, she has been “on the streets” and suffered conviction for theft. On Saturday all the girls were given a trip to Seaton, and early on Sunday morning a drawing room at the home was forcibly entered, various articles stolen, and CLARKE was missing.
