Mrs. M. MAIDMENT, Lottisham

Mrs. Mary MAIDMENT, who was born at Evercreech in 1883, and at the time of her marriage moved to Lottisham, died last Tuesday at her home, Pennridge, Lottisham.

The funeral took place at Lottisham Church on Friday. It was conducted by the Rev. D. W. SCHOLER, and was followed by interment in the churchyard.

She was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. WELCH. She married Mr. Sidney MAIDMENT of Lottisham in 1923 and they farmed at Lottisham House until 1939 when Mr. MAIDMENT retired.

They then moved to Pennridge, and the same year, Mr. MAIDMENT died. Mrs. MAIDMENT lived there ever since, and leaves one daughter.
