ILE BREWERS.

FUNERAL OF MR. JAMES. - The funeral of Mr. JAMES, dairyman, took place on Saturday, of last week. Mr. JAMES was taken ill soon after coming into the village to reside, and although he received treatment at the Taunton and Somerset Hospital passed away at the early age of 46. The Rev. G. H. BODE, of Fivehead, officiated at the funeral in the absence of the vicar of Ile Brewers. The mourners were the widow and six children; Messrs. Giles and Sidney JAMES (brothers); Mrs. LOWMAN and Mrs. CASE (sisters); Mr. G. COOMBES and Mr. CHANT (brothers-in-law); Mrs. CHANT and Mrs. BRADFORD (sisters-in-law); and Mrs. E. JAMES (daughter-in-law). Many of the villagers attended to pay the last tribute. There was a large number of wreaths from relations and friends.
