PILTON.

THE LATE MRS. B. R. CREED. - The funeral of the late Mrs. B. R. CREED, of East Town, Pilton, who died on the 15th inst., at the age of 67, took place on Saturday last at the Parish Churchyard, when there was a large attendance of mourners and others. The body was conveyed for burial in a polished oak coffin, with masseive <sic> brass furniture, the breast plate bearing the following inscription: “Anna Delilah Creed, died January 15th, 1916, aged 67.” A large number of beautiful wreaths were placed upon the coffin. The mourners were Messrs Benjamin Robert CREED (husband), Robert CREED, Ethelbert Nelson CREED, H. CREED, and M. CREED (sons), Misses C. CREED and R. CREED (daughters), L. TUCKER (nephew), J. HOOPER, High Barnet (brother), Mrs. M. CREED (daughter-in-law), Miss Edith CREED (grand-daughter), Masters G. CREED, C. CREED, of Steanbow, G. CREED, and N. CREED, of Pennard (grandsons), Mr. and Mrs. SMITH, Malmesbury, Mr. Sidney CREED (brothers in law and sister-in-law), Mr. H. SWANTON (nephew), Messrs. T. CATLEY, G. EAVIS, Litton, G. WILLIAMS, Mr. E. DAVIS, Mr. R. P. ALLEN, and others. The service was impressively conducted by the Rev. Preb. BENNETT (vicar).

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Philip HALL, of Shepton Mallet, and admirably carried out by him.
