DOULTING.

SUDDEN DEATH OF MR. NAISH.

Great surprise and regret were caused Sunday morning, when it became known that Mr. Albert Charles NAISH, of Farncombe, had died on the previous night. He was in Shepton Mallet market on Friday in the best of spirits, and was on his farm Saturday afternoon, in company with Mr. Leslie TUCKER, engaged in his usual pursuits, and apparently in his general good health. He then walked towards his house, to prepare for milking of cows, and when in one of the stalls said he felt giddy, and was assisted indoors. He almost immediately became unconscious, and a doctor was sent for. Unfortunately, medical aid was of small avail, Mr. NAISH having sustained hemorrhage on the brain, and he expired without regaining consciousness at 10.30 p.m., the presence of his family. By a strange coincidence it was exactly twelve months ago, to the day, that Mr. NAISH was thrown from his trap at Doulting, on the Frome road, and though no bones were broken, he sustained a severe shock, the effects of which never completely passed from him. Mr. NAISH was very well-known in the district, he having been born at West Pennard, on 31st May, 1872, and was therefore 51 years of age. He occupied Laverly Farm in his native village and left there for Farncombe about four years ago. He leaves a widow, three daughters, and a son, whose ages range from eight to nineteen years, the son being 17. The funeral took place in Doulting Churchyard, on Wednesday afternoon, in the presence of a large company of relatives and sympathisers. The Rev. H. S. DARBYSHIRE conducted the service, and there was a large attendance of friends and parishioners. The chief mourners were: Mrs. NAISH (widow), Bertram NAISH (son), H. and V.
