TAUNTON.

Mr. Walter WOODFORD, of the Albion Inn, East-reach, Taunton, has two apple trees now bearing the second blossom.

SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO A CHILD. -On Monday evening a serious accident happened to a little boy named Henry James WIDGER, four years old, who lives with his parents in No. 2 court, King-street. The child was playing in Tancred-street, when it was knocked down by a horse, which became restive in consequence of the playing of the Mission band. He was taken to the Taunton and Somerset Hospital, where it was found that he had sustained serious injuries in the head and other parts of his body. He was detained at the institution.
