LATE MR. RICHARD BRUFORD
CHORAL SERVICE AT ST. MARY'S.
The funeral of Mr. Richard BRUFORD (76), of 150, East Reach, Taunton, took place on Saturday.
Mr. BRUFORD, as reported in our last issue, was a prominent chorister. The service in St. Mary's Church was choral, the surpliced choir, of which Mr. BRUFORD was a member, being in attendance. Mr. Herbert KNOTT was at the organ, and played some of Mr. BRUFORD's favourite music. The Rev. W. H. HEATON-RENSHAW (vicar) officiated, being assisted by the Curate, the Rev. E. J. CHEVERTON.
The interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery.
The principal mourners were:- Mr. L. G. BRUFORD, Bath (son), Mr. and Mrs. S. P. HAYES, Taunton, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. HEFFORD, London (sons-in-law and daughters), Mr. Charles BRUFORD and Miss Marion HAYES, Taunton (grandchildren).
The numerous floral tributes included wreaths from organisations with which Mr. BRUFORD had been associated.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, Haydon-road, Taunton.
