SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP

PRIZE-WINNERS at the fortnightly whist drive held on Saturday in aid of Hall funds were Mesdames G. W. ROWSWELL and E. ENGLAND and Messrs. W. BEALEY and W. ENGLAND. Mr. E. BEST was M.C.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MILDRED E. GRAY

The funeral took place on Thursday of Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth GRAY, Middle-street. Aged 47, she had been ill for only a few days, and much sympathy is felt with her husband and two daughters in their bereavement. She was a popular member of the Mothers' Union, and all her fellow members attended the funeral service which was conducted by the Rector (Rev. F. B. TAYLOR). Miss Sybil ROWSWELL was at the organ. Family mourners were:- Mr. C. GRAY (husband), the Misses Viola and Doreen GRAY (daughters), Mr. Sidney HOOPER, Mrs. S. ALLEN (mother), Mr. Wilfred ROWSWELL (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. W. STROUD, South Petherton (cousins), Arthur GRAY (brother-in-law), Mrs. WAKELY (cousin?), Mr. and Mrs. Norman GRAY (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Mrs. W. M---??? Barrington, Miss Viva CARTER, Compton, and Mrs. J. ENGLAND, London.

The Mother's Union was represented by Mrs. TAYLOR (enrolling member) and Mesdames SANGUINETTI, HARDWICK, C. BEST, A. ALLEN, F. BROWN, H. CLARK, W. CORNELIUS, F. -------S, B. DRAYTON, B. DRAYTON, E. ENGLAND, W. ENGLAND, J. GUMMER, H. HARRIS?, L. HARRIS, J. HAWKINS, F. MEAD, F. POND, H. POND, L. BOND, T. POND, F. PITTARD, T. ROWSELL, C. TALBOT, B. WELCH, J.? WELCH, and W. WELCH. The bearers were Messrs? D. HANNEY?, T. ENGLAND, E. ENGLAND, F. MARTIN, H. CORNELIUS, and J. WAKELY, all cousins of deceased. The many beautiful floral tributes includes a cross from members of the Shepton Beauchamp Mothers' Union.

Mr. C. GRAY and daughers wish to thank friends for kind expressions of sympathy in their sad bereavement, also for the beautiful floral tributes.
