SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP
MEMBERS of the Beauchamp Lodge R.A.O.B. held their annual outing on Wednesday, going by road to Weston-super-Mare. Wives and children also made up the party, and each child was supplied with pocket money and tea, in addition to having the free outing.
BRIMSGROVE-LANE IMPROVEMENT. - At the meeting of Chard Rural District Council on Tuesday it was reported that alternative estimates of £40 and £20 had been before the Housing Committee for improving the condition of Brimsgrove-lane, Shepton Beauchamp, in front of Council houses. The Architect explained about £28 was expended on the top part of the lane after the last six houses were built. - Consideration was adjourned, Mr. ENGLAND promising to inspect the lane.
