FIVEHEAD
DEATH OF MR. L. SALWAY. - His many friends heard with regret of the death of Mr. Leonard SALWAY, of Brakelands House. The eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Heman SALWAY, he was born in the village, but went as a young man to London, where he was engaged as a rural postman for the G.P.O. He retired on pension about four years ago and returned to Fivehead and built a new house at Brakelands. He was a valued member and deacon of the Baptist Church at Fivehead, a most energetic Liberal, and was the honorary secretary of the Choral Society, which was started about two years ago. He leaves a widow and daughter. He will be grately <sic> missed by a large circle of friends both here and in London.
<NOTES: Leonard SALWAY son of Heman SALWAY and Harriet STODGELL, married Agnes Amelia AVIS>
