MOORLAND

WEDDING OF MR. E. BREWER AND MISS O. THRESHER

The wedding took place at the Parish Church of SS. Peter and Paul on Sunday of Mr. Edwin BREWER, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. F. BREWER, of “Roseneath,” Moorland, and Miss Olive THRESHER, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. THRESHER, of “Southview,” Burrowbridge.

The Vicar, Rev. L. S. THORP, officiated. Mrs. SMITH (sister of the bridegroom) was at the organ.

The bride wore an ankle-length dress of old gold silk, with hat to match, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Hazel BRYANT, of Spaxton, as bridesmaid. Mr. A. CROKER, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was “best man.” A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where 40 guests assembled Mr and Mrs. BREWER received a large number of presents.
