TAUNTON DIAMOND WEDDING

TELEPHONE CHAT WITH SON IN CANADA

MR. AND MRS. W. H. BOSLEY

A transatlantic telephone chat with a son living in Ontario, Canada, was one of the ways in which Mr. William Henry BOSLEY, of 38, Greenbrook-terrace, Taunton, celebrated his and Mrs. BOSLEY's diamond wedding on Thursday. They received a number of congratulations, including messages from the King and from Lieut.-Colonel E. T. R. WICKHAM, M.P. for the Division.

Mr. BOSLEY, who is a tailor by occupation, retired five years ago from his business which he had carried on at Greenbrook-terrace. Except for a short period in London, he has lived all his life in Taunton.

Mr. and Mrs. BOSLEY have one son and three daughters. Their son, to whom Mr. BOSLEY spoke on the transatlantic telephone, is a director of a large insurance company, and is concerned in real estate. He has two children, and Mr. BOSLEY also spoke to them and to his daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. BOSLEY have twice visited Canada, and their son is coming to England during the coming summer. Mr. and Mrs. BOSLEY's three daughters are all married. Mrs. WEBB lives at the Nurseries, Wilton, Mrs. WESTCOTT in Woodstock-road, Taunton, and Mrs. WEBB at Croydon. There are five grandchildren ad three great-grandchildren.

There was a family party to celebrate the happy occasion on Thursday.
