WEDDING OF MISS V. JENKINS

At St. Mary's Church, on Saturday, Miss Violet JENKINS, of Tappers-lane, was married to Mr. Francis Albert FORTUNE, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. David FORTUNE, of Bedminster, Bristol.

The Vicar (the Rev. J. ADDY) conducted the service, and many friends attended.

Given away by her grandfather (Mr. G. JENKINS), the bride wore a dress of old gold satin, with halo and veil, and shoes to match. She carried a bouquet of gold roses.

Miss Majorie JENKINS (cousin of the bride) was the chief bridesmaid, and the bride was also attended by Vera JENKINS and Molly MUTTERS (cousins of the bride). The chief bridesmaid wore a dress of apple green satin, with head-dress to match, and carried a bouquet of yellow tulips and blue irises. The younger bridesmaids wore mauve taffeta, with caps to match, and carried bouquets of anemones. They presented the bride with silver horse-shoes as she left the church.

Mr. W. HUBBARD (friend of the bridegroom) was the “best man.”

After a reception at Tapper-lane the bride and bridegroom left for their future home at Bristol. They received many presents.
