WENT DOWN IN ROYAL OAK

SON OF RECTOR OF CHEDDON FITZPAINE

TAUNTON FAMILY BEREAVED

Three members of two families in Taunton and district were on the Royal Oak, which was sunk by a German U boat at Scapa Flow on Saturday.

Two of them have been reported missing and the third is among the survivors.

Mr. Philip William Calles GRAHAM, aged 19, third son of the Rev. Christopher GRAHAM, M.A., O.B.E., Rector of Cheddon Fitzpaine, and Mrs. GRAHAM, is reported missing.

Mr. GRAHAM was a midshipman. The Rev. GRAHAM himself served as a Chaplain in the Royal Navy.

TWO SONS-IN-LAW.

Two sons-in-law of Mrs. DEAN and the late Mr. W. G. DEAN, former licensee of the Turk's Head, St. James-street, Taunton, were on the ship.

They were Act. Wt. Ordnance Officer Roy WARD, and Leading Wtr. Kenneth H. WILLOUGHBY.

Mr. WARD is reported missing, but Mr. WILLOUGHBY is among the survivors.

Mrs. DEAN and her family are now living at Portsmouth.
