STOKE ST. GREGORY

CHOIR AND BELLRINGERS' SUPPER. - This annual supper was held in the Church Sunday School-room, on Monday About thirty members accepted the invitation. The Vicar thanked Miss PRESTON for her hard work in preparing the supper. The adult members' party followed that of the juniors.

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE. - The monthly meeting was held in the Williams Memorial Hall, on Tuesday. Arrangements were made for a whist drive in the Williams Memorial Hall on January 26th, in aid of funds to buy wool, &c., to make comforts for the men of the Forces, and also to assist Red Cross Funds. The New Year party followed. A guessing competition run by Mrs. H. PARKER, was won by Messrs. WILSON and MARKE, of Taunton.
