FIVEHEAD

ALL THE FIVEHEAD MEN with the B.E.F. in Flanders returned safely.

A HOUSE-TO-HOUSE COLLECTION was made at Fivehead and Swell in connection with the Red Cross Flag-day. The Misses RICHARDS and SLACK collected at Fivehead, and Miss MATTERSON at Swell, and the amount given was £8 9s 6d.

IN OBSERVANCE of Empire-day the scholars, with teachers and friends of the Fivehead and Swell Church of England Junior School, visited, as usual, Mr. A. K. MATTERSON at Langford Manor, and sang patriotic songs. They were kindly given buns and chocolates before returning to their homes
