LATE MR. G. A. PIPE
The funeral took place on Tuesday of Mr. George Albert PIPE (57), of the Rising Sun Inn, Lower Knapp, whose death occurred suddenly on Friday, February 9th. The Rev. Jocelyn DAVIES officiated. The mourners were Mrs. PIPE (widow), Victor, Gladys, Charles, Queenie and Jessie (sons and daughters), Mesdames DENMAN, STENSON, and SPEARING (sisters), Mr. A. E. PINE (step-brother), Mrs. C. BRYER (step-sister), Mrs. A. E. PINE, Mr. C. BRYER, Mr. J. DENMAN, Mr. W. PARSONS, Mr. and Mrs. W. BROOKS, Mr. S. PARSONS, Mr. H. PARSONS (sisters and brothers-in-law), P.O. W. McCOY, R.N. (son-in-law), Mrs. C. PIPE (daughter-in-law), Miss G. SPEARING (niece). There were many beautiful wreaths. The bearers were Messrs. W. and A. DERHAM, H. CHEDZOY, D. PIPE, G. and W. DARE (cousins of Mr. PIPE).
