KINGSBURY EPISCOPI

W.I. GARDEN PARTY

This year's Women's Institute garden party was held at Mid-Lambrook Manor (by permission of Mr. and Mrs. E. JACOBS). A large number of members and their friends enjoyed the excellent entertainment provided in the delightful surrounding at the Manor. In the course of the evening the sum of £40 3s was raised for St. Dunstan's A “bring and buy” stall bran tub, skittles housie-housie, darts, weighing, and a concert and dancing on the lawn all helped to swell the proceeds. The competition was for the best arranged bowl of flowers, in which the awards were gained by Mrs. D. GILLETT, Miss Ada STUCKEY, Miss M. JENNINGS, Mrs J. WILLY, Mrs. CLASSEY and Mrs PERRETT. Great credit is due to the President (Mrs. T. PENNY), the Secretary (Mrs. B. MALE), the Committee and members whose organisation and help combined to achieve such a splendid result.
