CURRY MALLETT

THE MONTHLY MEETING of the Women's Institute was held in the Baptism School-room on Friday. The President (Mrs. E. GLIDE) presided. Mrs. F. CHURCHILL was appointed delegate to the group meeting at Langport. Four members volunteered as helpers for the market shop. A talk on “Renovations” was given by Mrs. VENTON, who was thanked by Mrs. BEVAN. The competition, “Worked Button-holes,” was judged by Mrs. VENTON, whose awards were:- 1, Mrs. CROCKER; 2, Miss P. DIBBBLE. Tea hostesses were Mrs. TOTTLE, Mrs. MELDRUM and Mrs. Bryce SMITH. The social half hour was arranged by Mrs. Howard CHEDZOY.
