The funeral took place in Uffculme Cemetery of Mrs. Ellen FOURACRE, widow of Mr. William FOURACRE, who was employed for many years on the Mountstephen Estate. Mrs. FOURACRE, who was 83, died at Coldharbour, where she had been living with her son and daughter-in-law. The service at the Parish Church was conducted by the Vicar (the Rev. H. G. CHALK). The mourners were Mrs. F. QUANT, Mr. Ernest FOURACRE, Mrs. COXWELL and Mr. T. FOURACRE (sons and daughters), Mr. F. QUANT, Mrs. T. FOURACRE and Mr. R. COXWELL (sons-in-law and daughter-in-law), Mr. A. POTTER, Mrs. H. BATTEN, Mr. Hubert BATTEN (nephews and nieces), Mrs. ROUNSEFELL (cousin).

Other sympathisers present included Mesdames C. LEVETT, DENNER, A. E. WESTERN, R. WESTERN, F. GRAVES, W. ALFORD, Mrs. HOLE and Mrs. T. HOLE.
