WICKER MANUFACTURER

DEATH OF MR. T. MILLER, NORTH PETHERTON

We regret to record the death of Mr. Thomas MILLER, of Hammett-street, North Petherton, which occurred at the Bridgwater Hospital on Friday, after a short illness, at the age of 66 years.

Mr. MILLER was highly respected in the village where he carried on business as a wicker manufacturer. For many years he was a member of the Parish Council, he was a member of the North Petherton Horiticultural Society, and did much good work on the Committee. He was always willing to assist charitable functions arranged in the village, and will be greatly missed.
His wife died several years ago, and he leaves two sons and a daughter.

The funeral took place at the Cemetery on Tuesday, the first part of the service conducted by the vicar (the Rev. J. ADDY) being held at the Parish Church. The family mourners were Mr and Mrs. W. MILLER and Mr. and Mrs. A. MILLER (sons and daughters-in-law); Miss L. MILLER (daughter), Mrs. M. MILLER (sister-in-law); Mr. and Mrs. C. PARKER (brother-in-law and sister-in-law); Mr and Mrs. W. PIKE, Mr. BOARD, Mrs. DAVEY, Mr. F. WILLIAMS (employee) and Mr. P. McCROFT.

Among others present were Mr. E. J. ROGERS, Mr. G. GARDNER, Mr. C. SMITH, Mrs. PARKER, Mrs. WOODLEY, Mr. BRABEER, Mrs WIGLEY, and Mr. PERVEY.

There were many beautiful floral tributes.
