Monkton Heathfield Fire Outbreak
On Thursday morning there was an outbreak of fire at PRING's slaughter-house, Monkton Heathfield. The premises are now used by a firm sawing firewood, and it is believed that a petrol engine, used to drive the saw, caught fire as it was being started. The Taunton N.F.S. were called, but the fire had been extinguished when they arrived.
