TENANTS' BOUQUET FOR THEIR LANDLADY

Mr. T. TALBOT, of 4, Duke-street, Taunton, and his neighbours in Duke-street, who are tenants of Mrs. Amelia HAWKINS, 27, Eastbourne-road, Taunton, collected among themselves for a bouquet for their landlady, when she celebrated her 85th birthday this week. All her tenants gathered around her door and tendered their birthday greetings. Some have been tenants of Mrs. HAWKINS for nearly 40 years. Mrs. HAWKINS is remarkably active for her age. She has only recently returned from Blue Anchor, where she spent most of the summer alone in her caravan. The first person to own a caravan at Blue Anchor, she has seen the town grow from a quiet hamlet to a popular West Somerset seaside resort.
