DOLPHIN INN MOVED

Taunton Borough Magistrates on Wednesday granted the transfer of the licence of the Dolphin Inn from Duke-street, Taunton, to the Holway Estate.

The magistrates were shown the plan of the new premises and Alderman C. H. GOODLAND (chairman) remarked that the building was very well designed. Many older public houses needed improvement and “this seems to set a high standard,” he said.

Mr. A. H. VINCENT has been licensee of the Dolphin for 18 years. The new premises were formally opened on Thursday evening.
