Former Bradford Builder


The funeral took place at Bradford-on-Tone on Monday of Mr. William George FOURACRE, of Three Bridges, Bradford-on-Tone. Born at Staplehay 77 years ago, he was a bricklayer and builder until his retirement about ten years ago. He had lived with his son, Mr. Gerald FOURACRE, for 18 months, and died after a short illness. He leaves three sons and three daughters.

The Rev. J. E. DAVIES conducted the service.

The principal mourners were: Messrs. G. A., D. G. and L. FOURACRE (sons), Mr. and Mrs. B. FOURACRE (brother and sister-in-law) Messrs. J. NORRIS, H. CREED and H. WRIGHT (sons-in-law), Mesdames D. and L. FOURACRE (daughters-in-law), Miss M. FOURACRE (granddaughter).

The following relatives were unable to attend: Mesdames J. NORRIS, H. GREED and H. WRIGHT (daughters) and Mrs. G. A. FOURACRE (daughter-in-law).

There were many floral tributes. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, of Haydon-road, Taunton.
