Ex-Rugby Forward
Funeral of Mr. Len WARE
A well-known Taunton sportsman, Mr. Len WARE, died on Monday at his home, 111, St. Augustine-street. For many years he was a playing member of Taunton Rugby Club and a keen follower of all sport. He was 57 years of age, and had been in failing health for a long time.
He was employed by the Walpamur Coy., Ltd., East Reach, until ill-health compelled him to give up.
The funeral service in St. James' Church on Thursday was conducted by the Rev. R. M. CHATFIELD. Mr. Douglas HILL was the organist.
The mourners were: Mrs. M. WARE (wife), Mrs. A. WARD and Mrs. Len JARMAN (daughters), Mr. J. WARE (brother), his sisters (Eleanor, Olive, Evelyn and Phyllis), Mr. A. WARD and Mr. Len JARMAN (sons-in-law), Mr. A. TOTTERDELL (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. G. WILKINSON, Mr. Fred BROUGHAM, Mr. C. P. EWENS and Lionel, Mr. DENNISON, Mr. ROWSELL(?).
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, Haydon-road, Taunton.
