Pitminster Widow

Funeral of Mrs. G. GLANVILL

The death occurred at the Trinity Hospital, Taunton, last Thursday of Mrs. Agnes GLANVILL, of 1, Church Cottage, Pitminster. Mrs. GLANVILL, who was 73, was the widow of Mr. George GLANVILL, who for many years was the landlord of the Queen's Arms Hotel at Pitminster. Mrs. GLANVILL attended the Parish Church until a long illness prevented her from doing so.

The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon. The service and burial were at Pitminster Parish Church conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. W. P. Pakenham WALSH. Mrs. LEE played the organ.

Principal mourners were: Mrs. F. TREMEER and Mrs. M. CARDEW (nieces), Mr. T. HEARD, Mr. G. HEARD, Mr. Gordon TREMEER, Mr. David TREMEER and Mr. John TREMEER (nephews), and Mr. and Mrs. P. HOLWAY (friends), Mrs. HEARD (sister) and Mr. J. HEARD were unable to attend.

Among many friends who attended were: Dr. BURGESS, Mrs. M. WOODMAN, Mrs. D. POPE, Mr. S. D. LEES, Mrs. R. GOVIER, Mrs. H. REED, Mrs. A. JONES, Mrs. G. SYDENHAM, Mrs. L. H. LEE, Mrs. J. BEARD, Mrs. R. DOBLE, Mr. and Mrs. K. KEITCH, Mr. J. LEE, Mr. COX, Mrs. N. AULT and Mr. PARSONS.

The funeral arrangements were by Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, of Haydon-road, Taunton.
