SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP
LATE MR. P. BEST
The death occurred on Saturday week of Mr. Philip BEST, New Inn Cottage, at the age of 76. The funeral service and interment took place on Wednesday week, the Rev. A. T. STEPHENS officiating. Family mourners were: Mr. G. HOOPER (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. T. DOVEY, Mr. and Mrs. A. HUTCHINGS, Mr. and Mrs. LARCOMBE, Mrs. F. BILE, Wincanton, Mr. B. HOOPER, Mrs. A. CLOTHIER, Poyntington (nephews and nieces).
Mrs. L. BEST (wife), Mrs. J. SAVERY, Mrs. L. HOOPER, Mrs. N. LOCKE (sisters), and Mr. N. BEST, Canada (brother) were unable to be present.
Others at the church were Mrs. M. SPARKS, Miss L. DRAYTON, Mrs. J. INDER, Mrs. C. BEST, Mrs. W. ENGLAND, Mr. J. GUMMER and Mr. H. CORNELIUS.
