Funeral of Mr. Ruscombe HABBERFIELD
A lifelong resident of North Newton, Mr. Ruscombe HABBERFIELD, who had farmed at Chadmeade for many years, died at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, 5, Queen's Square, North Curry, on January 23rd. He was 80. He leaves two sons and one daughter.
Many friends attended the funeral service at North Newton Parish Church on Monday afternoon, conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. R. M. CHATFIELD.
Principal mourners were:- Mr. H. HABBERFIELD (son), Mr. and Mrs. R. HABBERFIELD (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. R. KNIGHT (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. D. HURFORD and Mr. and Mrs. C. WENSLEY (grandchildren), Mr. and Mrs. Jehu HABBERFIELD (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. John HABBERFIELD, Mr. S. HABBERFIELD, Mr. C. HABBERFIELD and Mr. E. HABBERFIELD (brothers), Mrs. L. BUTT, Mrs. T. FOSTER and Mrs. D. COUSINS (sisters).
Mr. Ernest HABBERFIELD (brother), Mrs. A. PRATT (sister) and Mrs. E. HABBERFIELD (sister-in-law) were unable to attend.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, of Haydon-road, Taunton.
