FUNERAL OF MRS. OATEN
Mrs. Rose OATEN died at Cheddon Road Isolation Hospital on 9th November, after a long illness. She was the widow of Mr. Joseph OATEN, who died in 1940. For the past four years she had lived with her daughter at 31, Outer Circle. Before this she was at Leycroft Close and during her married life she lived at 87, East Reach.
The funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on Saturday, was conducted by Pastor GRIFFITHS, was conducted by Pastor GRIFFITHS. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery.
The mourners were:- Mr. C. OATEN, Mr A. OATEN (sons), Mrs. E. JONES, Mrs. V. POMEROY Mrs. E. SINGLEHURST (daughters), Mr. A. SINGLEHURST (son-in-law), Mrs. G. OATEN, Mrs. W. OATEN (daughters-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. L. SINGLEHURST, Mr. W. POMEROY, Miss J. SINGLEHURST, Mr. M. OATEN (grandchildren), Mrs. F. WILLARD (friend).
The funeral arrangements were by Messrs. E. E. WHITE & Son, Ltd., East Reach, Taunton.
