DIED AT WORK
Mr. John SPILLER (50), an engineering inspector, 19, The Crescent, Ilminster, died while at work at Denings, Chard.
DIVORCE DECREE
Grace Florence TUDOR, 29, Summervale, Ilminster, was granted a decree nisi at Bristol Divorce Court on Thursday against Raymond Robert TUDOR, on the ground of desertion.
MOTORIST'S ERROR
'It was an unfortunate error,' wrote Wilfred James ROWSWELL, mason, Lyden, Broadway, to the magistrates at Chard Court on Wednesday when he was accused of driving a car over a double white line near Hort Bridge. He was fined £1.
