The Late Mr. 'Bob' STEVENS

Many Mourn Him at Taunton

The funeral service of Mr. Robert Henry ('Bob') STEVENS, aged 73, of 37, Henley Road, Taunton, whose death was reported in our last week's issue, took place at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday morning. It was conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. G. C. RAYNER, and the organist was Mrs. C. WICKHAM. Burial at Taunton Deane Cemetery was followed by the R.A.O.B. ceremony, conducted by Mr. A. R. BURNHAM.

Mr. STEVENS was well-known locally as a licensee and an entertainer – he formerly had his own concert party, and was a member of the roll of honour of the Royal Antediluvian Order Society of Buffaloes.
