CHEDDON FITZPAINE
ELDERLY WIDOW DIES
Mrs. Harriet Annie ROY, of 88, Cheddon Fitzpinae, who died at her home, aged 75, was the widow of Mr. Jack ROY, and had lived in the village for 42 years. She regularly attended the Parish Church and was a member of the Women's Institute. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. SCOTT-WHITING.
The funeral service at the Parish Church on Friday was conducted by the Rev. M. E. ROYNON, West Monkton, and burial followed in the churchyard.
Mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. SCOTT-WHITING (son-in-law and daughter), Miss E. BLACKMORE, Mrs. H. FUDGE (sisters) Mr. G. BLACKMORE (brother), Mrs. J. VINCENT (sister-in-law), Mr. A. FUDGE, Mr. and Mrs. C. HAWKINS, Mrs. P. BISHOP, Mr. R. PERRY, Mr. A. HAWKINS, Mrs. M. BAKER, also representing Mr. and Mrs. J. MILTON, brother-in-law, and sister, Mr. and Mrs. S. MILTON, Mrs. J. MILLARD, also Mr. MILLARD, Mrs. N. M. TAYLOR (nephews and nieces).
Funeral arrangements were by Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, Haydon Road, Taunton.
